OUR SOURCES OF FUNDING AND SUPPORT
CDCC continuously strives to
provide a high quality childcare program for children in our community. As a
non-profit organization parent tuition fees are our major source of income. Tuition
Fees support our programs,
provide for staff salaries, and help cover our overhead. In addition we rely on
a variety of outside sources for funding and donations.

United Way of Northern NY
CDCC is honored to be a Partner Organization of
United
Way of Northern NY, who generously donate funds to our childcare
center whenever possible.
If you would like to help build the community and strengthen the people of
the North Country,
donations
can be made online or by printing out their pledge form. Donating through United Way
provides you with the opportunity to support their many causes, and to improve
conditions throughout St. Lawrence County.
If you would like to donate directly to Canton Day Care Center, Inc. through
United Way of Northern NY you can do so by requesting a separate pledge form. Your gift would be applied to the
programs and services United Way funds for our organization.

can also be made directly to our center! Your gift will help support our
programming needs and enable us meet our goals for high quality care.

SEFA (State Employees Federated
Appeal)
CDCC is a Participating Agency of SEFA and receives
funding through the generous donations of State employees. SEFA is the only authorized charitable solicitation of
NY state employees. SEFA is a federated campaign, meaning that a variety of health, human services, environmental and advocacy federations and agencies participate. State employees may designate their gift directly to a participating
agency in any campaign area in the state.

Food Grant
Canton Day
Care Center is proud to be an active member of The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), the United States Department of
Agricultural (USDA) program that provides reimbursement to child care centers
who serve nutritious meals and follow USDA standards for a healthy and balanced
diet.

UPK
Universal Pre-Kindergarten
CDCC works with
Canton Central School and the Banford Elementary UPK program to ensure that
children in both our preschool and the
school's UPK program experience a smooth transition in their early learning
years. Children are bused to and from our center before and after their UPK
session and during early dismissals.
Canton Day Care
Center, Inc. provides exceptional "Wrap-Around" childcare for children in
Banford's UPK program.
